This is Dooley. He is a beautiful hypo albino Burmese python (Python bivittatus). The species is indigenous to south and southeast Asia, but right now they are an invasive species in Florida. The climate in central and south Florida is perfect for Burmese pythons to live and propogate and without any natural predators once they reach a certain size, they are multiplying out of control causing ecological damage. Part of the problem may be due to irresponsible snake keepers who released pet burms when they got too large. Adult males reach 10-12 ft long and females are typically longer and heavier. Dooley was less than a foot long when hatched. At 15 months old, he is currently about 9 ft long. At S&H, we promote responsible snake husbandry. He lives in a custom enclosure that we built specifically for him that has plenty of room for an adult burm and our rodent colonies allow us to feed him what he needs. Always be aware of how large your pet may grow and make sure that you have the room and supplies to care for them. Let us know if you need help or advice.

This is Cerci. She is a beautiful Black Magic (Mojave Black Pastel) ball python - Python regius. She joins the collection bringing a couple of darkening genes. She is a great girl and we look forward to sharing more pictures as she grows.

Remember when you purchase a new snake always quarantine it away from your other animals for a couple of weeks until you are sure that the new addition is clear of parasites like mites, has eaten, and has had a little time to acclimate to a new home.

Huati is our star out reach snake. She is a beautiful adult Boa imperator. She is about 6 ft long and a muscular 50 lbs. We always have her at shows for public snake encounters. We never charge for the opportunity to take a picture with this lovely girl.

Pablo is a beautiful adult single gene banana male ball python.
